Do I need a consultation before treatment?

It is recommended rather than required. You can book any treatment online without one, but a complimentary 30 minute consultation is the surest way to land on the right treatment: we look at your skin, talk through what you want to change, and you leave with a written plan. There is no obligation to book a treatment on the day. The consultation is arranged by phone or through the contact form, not through the online booking system.

What happens at the consultation?

It runs for 30 minutes and it is complimentary. Your therapist looks at your skin, asks what you want to change, and sets out a plan in writing including which treatments suit you and roughly how often to come in. You are free to take the plan away and think about it.

How do I book an appointment at Skin Lounge?

Book online through the studio's booking system, call 0418 126 950, or send the consultation request form on the contact page. An online booking is confirmed on the spot; a form request is answered by phone or email, usually the same day.

What are your trading hours?

Monday to Wednesday 10 to 5, Thursday 10 to 7, Friday and Saturday 10 to 5. Closed Sunday. Thursday runs later for appointments after work. Hours and directions are on the contact page.

Which treatments does Skin Lounge offer?

For the face: Discovery, Enzymatic, Infusion and Collagen treatments, LED light therapy, and the Herbal B and Herbal C peels. For the body: relaxation and deep tissue massage. Waxing, brows and spray tanning are coming soon. The full list with current pricing is on the price list.

What skincare products do you use?

Treatments use Dr Spiller Biomimetic SkinCare. The range covers cleansing, toning, serums and creams, and your therapist selects from it based on the plan agreed at your consultation.

Question 7

What is the difference between the Herbal B and Herbal C peel?

Accepted Answer

The Herbal C Peel is the longer and dearer appointment at 75 minutes and $325, against 40 minutes and $235 for the Herbal B Peel. Which one suits you is decided at consultation rather than chosen from the price list, because it depends on your skin and on the plan you agree with your therapist.

How often will I need to come in?

Skin is treated in cycles rather than single appointments, so your plan is reviewed at each visit and adjusted as your skin responds. Your therapist will set out an expected schedule at consultation. Individual results vary, and suitability is confirmed before any treatment begins.

Do you offer waxing, brows or spray tanning?

Not yet. Waxing, brows and spray tanning are coming to the Maroubra studio but cannot be booked at the moment. Ask at your next appointment and the studio will let you know when they open.

Skin Lounge is a street front studio at 1/234 Maroubra Road, Maroubra NSW 2035, serving Maroubra, Randwick, Coogee, Kingsford, Malabar and the wider Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Directions and a map are on the contact page.

How much do treatments cost?

Treatments start at $65 for LED light therapy and $99 for a Discovery Treatment, and run to $325 for the Herbal C Peel. The consultation itself is complimentary. Every price is listed on the price list, and your therapist confirms the price for your plan before anything is booked.
